Who are we?

We are a husband and wife team who want to be helpers in our community. One night we drove past a displaced man who was asking for money at a local shopping plaza. We didn't have anything to give but we wanted to take a mental note of his location, so that we can return aand give him something. We thought to ourselves, why not create an app for anyone to do just that? And so, "Helpers" was born. You can use this app to anonymously report the location of a person in need. Once reported, our team is notified. From there, we enlist others to join in prayer for the individual, as well as promptly meeting the individual and providing them with a care kit.

Deuteronomy 15:11 - Give freely and spontaneously. Don’t have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God, your God’s, blessing in everything you do, all your work and ventures. There are always going to be poor and needy people among you. So I command you: Always be generous, open purse and hands, give to your neighbors in trouble, your poor and hurting neighbors.
